How to Farm at the Speed of Light in Travian

Whether you are a Teuton, Gaul or Roman, raiding (aka farming) will become a big part of your game eventually. But selecting your 10 favorite farms and sending troops to collect resources can take about 5-15 min. as you manually find the village, click it, hit "send troops," etc. This is precious time you would rather spend doing something else. Travian players are required to develop time management skills so that they don't spend all day tweaking their villages. This article will show you how to get the job done in much less time after some initial setup.

Travian Plus offers a bookmark system that allows you to bookmark links. Try it for a day, you'll see that it doesn't hold a candle to what I am about to describe to you here.

Ready?

Using your FireFox browser, save the links to your favorite farms in a folder called "farms-travian-server-5" or whatever you want to call it. Each time you go to send your raids out, just go to your favorites and in the folder with those links click "open in all tabs". Select one command per tab as you hit Alt + Tab to switch tabs. For example, hover your mouse over the "raid" radio button. Now select it by clicking it, and the hit Alt + Tab. Click the next tab's radio button and hit Alt + Tab again. Do this for all your tabs. Next do all the clicking for entering troop numbers in the boxes. Repeat all the steps this way as you switch through the tabs quickly. Eventually you will be able to do this very fast. Farming will be peanuts.

Incredible eh? Now try doing it the old way.

After playing on the us speed servers he decided that due to the high volume of inexperienced players he would create a guide to help them out.
